  When Charles Gane went to design 455 Adelaide West, the architect found a way to turn an odd-shaped corner lot into an advantage.

  "It's a very difficult, L-shaped lot, with frontages on two streets, Adelaide and Morrison," says Gane, lead designer of the recently launched project and a partner with Core Architects Inc.

  455 Adelaide West is a 10-storey building with 103 units planned for a site between Spadina Ave. and Bathurst St., across from the St. Andrew's Playground park. It's a joint project between Freed Developments and Lash Development Corp.

  Custom bathroom vanities with countertops of Corian stone are by interior design firm Ciccone Simone Inc.
