Yu, Syndia. (2007, 11 May). "DOWNTOWN: Small building big on amenties". Toronto Star.
At its latest project in Corktown, Streetcar Developments is offering both the characteristics of a small, loft-style building and the shared amenities of a large condominium.
The development, called Corktown District, will include three six-storey buildings at 52 Sumach St., 549 King St. East and 569 King St. East. There also will be a small number of townhouses.
"There's just over 130 units [in total], so that way we can have the lounge, gym, rooftop spaces and auto-share [program], and all these features you wouldn't normally get in a boutique building," says Alie Warren, vice-president of marketing.
LOCATION: King Street East and Queen Street, Corktown
BUILDER/DEVELOPER: Streetcar Developments
SIZE: Suites range from 460 to 1,538 square feet; townhouses start at 1,800 square feet.
