David Feldman wants to bring a little bit of Joy to the Camelot neighbourhood in Don Mills.
In this case, Joy is a nine-storey condominium that has the style and architectural elements of a downtown address, at a lower price.
Feldman, president and CEO of Camrost-Felcorp, has been developing the established Camelot area for years. It's a mix of mid-rise buildings and townhouses. Joy and a neighbourhood park are the final two elements.
The building, with architecture by Atkins Group Corp., will feature a brick exterior with architectural accents and lots of windows.
The interiors, designed by Mike Niven Interior Design, include one- and two-storey loft layouts in one- and two-bedroom layouts. Many of these have dens, as well.
The 115 units range from 565 square feet to 1,148 square feet and are priced from $174,900 to $349,900. Maintenance fees will be 39 cents a square foot.

Camrost-Felcorp will literally wrap up its Camelot on the Ravine community with Joy — the moniker for a nine-storey condominium building to be located near Moccasin Trail Park in North York.
The glass and brick building will have two wings, the first of which will contain 115 units. Forty-five of these are already sold. Glass corridors will connect to a second wing, whose 90 suites will be unveiled at a later date.
By completion, the Camelot on the Ravine community will include 450 homes and a park. There already are 90 townhouses on the site, and an eight-storey condominium building, and many homes are occupied.

Raymer, E.v.. (2005, 30 April). "Don Mills project getting second mid-rise". Toronto Star.
The Camelot community in Don Mills is expanding with the addition of a mid-rise condominium building.
Camelot's first residents moved into condominium townhouses in 2002. Last year the Savoy at Camelot, also a mid-rise, was completed.
The latest phase is called Joy: the Condominiums at Camelot II.
"They're mid-rise (buildings), so they're not overbearing," says Daniela Palmieri, marketing co-ordinator for developer Camrost-Felcorp. "There's a nice, residential feel. They're not out of place in the neighbourhood."
Joy will be a nine-story building with a red brick exterior and glass balconies, surrounded by lush landscaping, says Palmieri. The Savoy is down the street, and Camelot's townhouses will surround it. Camrost-Felcorp is also creating a park across the street from Joy, within the Camelot community.
Joy will include 108 units ranging from one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms plus den. They're sized from 571 square feet to 1,000 square feet and are selling for $155,900 to $295,900. Maintenance fees will be 39 cents per square foot, and the purchase price includes a parking space. Storage lockers are $2,800.
