If a recent grand opening is any indication, the second phase of Loggia will be just as successful as the first one. "There's was lots of interest and plenty of traffic," says David Hirsh, president of Brandy Lane Homes, builder of the condominium at The Queensway and Islington Ave. "People like Loggia, so they're buying at Loggia." Phase 1, a 174-unit building is 80 per cent sold out, which prompted the early release of the second two-building complex. The 10-storey building will have 142 suites, ranging from 470 to 1,797 square feet, from a studio plan, to one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom designs. Prices range from $149,900 to $364,000 and include hardwood flooring throughout the main level, slate in the foyer, granite kitchen counter and a breakfast bar with stainless steel appliances. The two buildings will be connected at the second storey by a recreation centre called Loggia Club. Amenities include a party room, pool, whirlpool, exercise centre and concierge. The sales centre is at 1050 the Queensway, just west of Islington Ave.
