  • "Building provides expansive lake views". (2007, 2 October). Toronto Star.

A 37-storey condominium on Etobicoke's Humber Bay shores will offer views of the lake during the day and the lit skyline at night.

Nautilus, part of Monarch's Waterview resort project, will be built on a four-hectare site south of Lake Shore Blvd. The project launched last week.

One-bedroom suites start at 465 square feet in the mid $170,000s, going up to two-bedroom-plus-den suites with 1,418 square feet priced at $700,000. Larger, more expensive penthouses will be released later.

There will be 377 suites and maintenance fees will be 41 cents a square foot. Occupancy is expected for December 2010.

  • "Waterview’s next wave set for splash". (2007, 23 August). Metro Canada.

A tidal wave of excitement will soon hit the shores of Lake Ontario as Monarch introduces Nautilus — the fourth building in the company’s Waterview urban resort. Sleek, slender and sensational, Nautilus will carve a landmark figure on Toronto’s skyline, and will add another fabulous residential component to this popular community in Etobicoke’s Humber Bay Shores.

The brainchild of renowned Graziani & Corazza Architects Inc., the design for the exterior of Nautilus reflects its lakeside surroundings. This 37-storey tinted-glass tower will rise from a three-storey precast and glass podium, which will feature recreational facilities, residential suites, and retail space including a proposed major grocery store. Many of the tower suites include six-foot-deep balconies that expand living area to the great outdoors. Picking up on the cool blues and soothing greens of the water, the balcony glass sections are arranged in a unique sweeping pattern that creates a sense of movement inspired by a shipÂ’s sail.

In keeping with the high level of quality that Waterview stands for, Monarch enlisted award-winning Tanner Hill Associates to design and decorate the stunning lobby and detail the attractive corridors. Suite owners will enjoy services provided by a uniformed 24/7 concierge, and will be able to utilize two designer-decorated guest suites.

Suites at Nautilus will range in size from 465 to 1,418 sq. ft. and will be priced from the $170,000s.
