  • "OCCUPANCY OF NEW FACULTY OF BUINESS BUILDING - MONDAY, AUGUST 28, 2006!!!". (2006, 17 July). Ryerson - Email to Students.

Greetings to one and all. As many of you know, the School of Business Management will be moving to our new facilities at 55 Dundas Street West, in August. The School of Business Management Student Information/Counselling area will be located in room RBB1-004. You need to be aware, however, that students and the general public will not be allowed into the building until Monday, August 28th. This means that prior to this date, all normal operations and services of the School of Business Management that deal with students will continue to operate out of our current location, which is 285 Victoria Street. The telephone numbers for the School, Faculty and Staff will remain the same both before and after August 28th.

  • Warson, Albert. (2005, 1 March). "A place to learn, shop and park a car". The Globe and Mail.

After several proposals were considered and rejected, construction has finally begun on a two-level retail extension of the Toronto Eaton Centre, a three-level parking garage in the middle and a 210,000-square-foot Ryerson University Faculty of Business building on top.

Cadillac Fairview, one of Canada's leading office building and shopping mall developers and owners, opened the flagship Eaton Centre in 1979. Its sales are nearly $900 a square foot, among the top grossing malls in Canada, according to Cadillac Fairview spokesman Neil Murphy.

The students will be spread out on 70,000-square-foot floor plates, among the largest in Canada (and more typical of bank tower trading floors), says Vaidila Banelis, a partner at Zeidler Partnership Architects in Toronto, the design architects.
