    Tucked away behind King and Yonge Sts., the Cosmopolitan, at 8 Colborne St., is the kind of tower that makes a whole lot of sense for a site like this one in downtown Toronto.

    Standing 26 storeys high, this is the tower as infill project, a scheme that brings life to a part of the city that people have traditionally left after work.

    The materials could have been nicer, but the virtues of simplicity are such that even precast looks okay in this setting.
