  • Raymer, E.v.. (2005, 30 July). "Downtown luxury project reflects art deco influences". Toronto Star.

A new release of smaller apartments is now available at The Forest Hill, a luxury highrise building in midtown Toronto.

Located at the northwest corner of Bathurst St. and St. Clair Ave. W., The Forest Hill will be a 22-storey building with a podium and penthouse suites at the top, built on the site of the Toronto-Dominion Bank, which will move into the ground floor space when The Forest Hill is completed.

Launched in February, The Forest Hill will include 171 apartments and is expected to be ready for first occupancies in summer 2007.

Sal Vitiello, of E.I. Richmond Architects Ltd., designed the building to reflect art deco influences, done in taupe and beige colours, says Jo-Anne Azzarello, vice-president of marketing and sales for developer the Goldman Group.

Construction of The Forest Hill, at 500 St. Clair Ave. W., is expected to begin this fall.

  • Winsa, Patty. (2005, 26 March). "Forest Hill condo project will feature art deco theme". Toronto Star.

The 22-storey Forest Hill condominium will bring high-density housing to an established neighbourhood along St. Clair Ave. W.

The 153-unit condo is the latest infill project by developer Murray Goldman, who also built Forest Hill Lofts (a 1930s knitting mill condo conversion) and Castle Hill (a former dairy site on Davenport Ave. that was converted into million-dollar townhouses).

The new condo, at 500 St. Clair W., will have an art deco theme, with a stepped roof and plenty of glass. The lobby, by interior designer and architect David Margulis, will echo the style with clean lines and geometric shapes.
