Design-savvy buyers are coming out to see the VU. In collaboration with esteemed Toronto design firm Cecconi Simone, Aspen Ridge Homes has unveiled a stunning new model suite at their popular condominium community, VU. The model showcases the fabulous suite feature that Aspen Ridge and Cecconi Simone created together for this fresh new urban community. In the towers themselves, studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and two-bedroom plus den suites range from 500 to 1,200 sq. ft. Most have kitchens with islands and many have balconies or terraces. There are also 13 street-level townhouses along George, available at 1,300 or 1,400 sq. ft.

When Goodwill Industries decided to sell its downtown flagship property in the fall of 2003, the charity wanted to find a new owner that would carry on the 70-year legacy of serving the community of "Old Town" Toronto.
Three and a half years later, lofts, condos and townhouses are for sale in VÜ, the master-planned condominium community by Aspen Ridge Homes that will be built on the Goodwill site.
There were 14 offers to redevelop the city block that stretches along Adelaide St. E. from Jarvis to George Sts. and north to Richmond St. E., says Barry Lyon, president and senior partner of the Toronto real estate consulting firm N. Barry Lyon Consultants Limited.
VÜ will encompass the entire block: Two towers of condominium suites will be connected with an eight-storey podium made up of retail space, lofts and a collection of 13 townhouses along George St. The 24-storey tower will overlook St. James Park and the 15-storey tower will be on the centre line of Adelaide St.
