The Rowe condominium in Whitby offers the best of two worlds: It is steps from the GO station, allowing easy access to the big city, and it's surrounded by a wealth of opportunities for outdoor activity.
Sales for the 11-storey building opened in mid-June and 70 per cent of the 131 units have already been sold, says Christine Brennan, sales and marketing director for Davies Smith Developments.
Those who buy units in the mid to higher floors of the Rowe will have views of the water. Units start in the $160,000 range for a 496-square-foot, one-bedroom unit and go to $500,000 for a 1,546-square-foot penthouse with two bedrooms, den and two balconies. Condo fees will be 40 cents per square foot.
The project will also offer eight two-storey garden homes on the first two floors, ranging from 1,100 to 1,800 square feet. They are priced from $311,000.
